Ingredients:

  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 chopped large onions
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of soup-based jarred beef
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 can of 28-oz crushed tomatoes, the fire-roasted ones
  • 2 pounds of boned and skinned chicken breast
  • 1 package of 10-oz thawed frozen corn, the cream-styled one
  • 1 package of 12-oz the whole frozen kernel
  • 1 bottle of 12-oz chili sauce
  • 1 package of 9-oz frozen beans, the baby lima ones
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of ground pepper, coarsen
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, the fresh one
  • 1 pound of beef brisket, barbecued and chopped without sauce
  • Hot sauce (if needed)

 

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In hot oil, put garlic and onions in a 5-qt Dutch oven.
  2. Sauté over medium to high heat until tender or for approximately 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add 2 cups of water and soup-based jarred beef to the Dutch oven.
  4. Stir it together with the next 9 ingredients, including the chicken, until it boils.
  5. Reduce the heat, put a lid to cover the Dutch oven, and stir occasionally in low heat for around 2 hours long.
  6. Once finished, open the lid and use 2 forks to shred the chicken into pieces, large-sized.
  7. Put lemon juice and brisket.
  8. Stir it together.
  9. Cook for another 10 minutes after putting on the lid to cover the Dutch oven.

It takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes to make the stew. Add additional 25 minutes beforehand to prepare for the ingredients.
