Then secure the wings and legs by tying them to the bird with a kitchen string. Make sure that you tie it correctly before you put the chicken in the rotisserie attachment. Again, ensure that the chicken is sitting securely in the rotisserie.

Put the attachment over the grill and let it cook for about ten minutes. Mix the butter with salt, pepper, and paprika for the basting mixture. Turn the grill heat down and start basting the chicken.

Afterward, you can let the grill work by closing the lid. However, you need to occasionally baste the chicken until it’s wholly cooked. You can use a meat thermometer to check the chicken. And when it’s at 180oF, roughly about 1 to ½ hours, then your chicken is ready.
