  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp cayenne pepper
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • Steak seasoning, as you wish
  • 3 tbsp red pepper flakes, or as you wish

Instructions

  • First of all, prepare a huge container that would fit the spicy Saltine crackers we are making.
  • Then, that would be great to have your crackers lined up inside that container. Then, put the container aside.
  • Continue creating the seasoned Saltine crackers simply by getting a small-sized mixing bowl to mix the seasonings. That would be better if you are pre-measure the seasoning before putting it in to the mixing bowl. Make sure to mix the seasonings well.
  • Continue by drizzling the seasoning onto the crackers. Ensure every part of the crackers are drizzled with the mixed seasonings.
  • Wait for the seasonings to absorb a little. Then, flip the container so that every part of the cracker is covered with the seasoning. However, avoid shaking the container as it makes the crackers to be broken. It is better to flip the container every 5 minutes.
  • Continue flipping until it reaches around 30 minutes or more. Or, if you please, you can leave the crackers to be ‘marinated’ overnight. However, this is not a compulsory thing. Also, putting the crackers inside a refrigerator is not necessary since it will make the crackers soggy.
  • Once you think it is enough, it will be fine to serve the crackers per se. do you plan to have it baked? It’s also fine! You can bake it with 250oC for around 20 minutes or until it turned golden.

So, what’s your opinion about this recipe? It sounds nice, doesn’t it? You can make these spicy Saltine crackers for the weekend, and it won’t make you frown.
