Zatarain’s Jambalaya pasta dinner mix is a product which is claimed to be a New Orleans tradition. In the package itself you can get a Jambalaya pasta mix which is ready for five servings. You can readily cook this product and serve it so that you won’t spend much time preparing your meal in a hard way. In order to make your pasta ready to munch, here is what you need to prepare.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack of Zatarain’s Jambalaya mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 lb. cooked sausage or andouille you can cut it into half an inch slice.
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil.

Instructions
 

  • First, bring in the oil in a medium-high heat in a large skillet.
  • As your oil gets heated, add the sausage. Cook for around 5 mins and stir until the sausage gets well-cooked—not burnt in both sides.
  • After that, pour 2 cups water and stir in your pasta dinner mix. Make it to boil, and stir it sometimes.
  • Reduce the heat, then cover your skillet with a lid, and let it simmer for around 10 minutes. You can also simmer it until the pasta is tender. Make sure to stir occasionally.
  • Finally, remove your skillet from heat. The sauce will thicken after having it stand for around 5 minutes.
  • Stir before serving your Jambalaya pasta.
