First, make sure to thaw chicken breasts if you buy the frozen one and cut the breasts into halves.
Also, make sure to clean the broccoli and garlic. Ensure that the broccoli, if frozen, has been thawed nicely. Frozen broccoli takes longer to cook and it can be difficult to absorb the seasonings as well.
Now that all ingredients are ready to cook, prepare a skillet. Then, spray your skillet with cooking spray and heat it up with a medium high heat. Do the preheating for around 1 minute.
Put the chicken onto the skillet and cook until it gets browned on all sides.
Proceed by putting on the Swanson stock, garlic, as well as the broccoli onto the skillet. Reduce the heat into low. Put the lid/cover and let the ingredients being cooked well.
Then, take the chicken out from the skillet. Place it on a plate.
On a small bowl, mix flour, milk, black pepper, and the Dijon mustard well.
Then, slowly pour the mixture to the skillet and raise the heat to medium-high. Let cook and stir occasionally until the mixture thickens and boils well.
Turn off the heat as you finished cooking.
On a plate, serve the chicken, cooked egg noodles, and the mixture you have just cooked.
