First, get a frying pan. Heat your vegetable oil using medium high heat. While waiting, you can slice the tofu.
As the oil is ready, it is time to add the tofu slabs. Make sure to fry both sides well until it turns golden brown.
Take a small bowl, then get your nutritional yeast in. Mix in garlic powder and black pepper.
Lower the frying pan’s heat. Then, add in the nooch mix onto the tofu. The nooch combo will be used as the coating for your tofu.
Cook the tofu for a while and flip the tofu occasionally. Add soy sauce and water (not too much). Let it cook until the nooch turns saucy. Make sure not to overcook the tofu and not to make it burnt. Turn the heat off if you think it has cooked well.
Time to assembly the burger! One bun, spread your condiments, leafy veggies in, tomatoes, and the cooked nooch tofu also in. Burger-it with another bun.
