Ingredients:

For the coleslaw:

  • 16 ounces of coleslaw mix
  • 2 packs of ramen noodle, it can be any flavor because the seasoning isn’t needed
  • 5 stalks of green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup of almonds, sliced

For the salad dressing:

  • 1/3 cup of white or rice vinegar
  • 2/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 tbs of soy sauce
  • 1 tbs of sesame oil
  • 2 tbs of honey

Instructions:

For the salad dressing:

  1. Add the white or rice vinegar, vegetable oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey into a jar, and close into a tight-fitting lid jar.
  2. Put the cover on and shake it until all the ingredients well-combined. Set aside.

For the coleslaw:

  1. Open the ramen, and take out the seasonings. By using the end of a spoon, crush the ramen within the packs.
  2. In a large bowl, add the coleslaw mix.
  3. Add the crushed ramen, almonds, and green onions to the same bowl. Arrange it nicely if you want to take a picture of it.
  4. Drizzle the dressing all over the salad coleslaw, and toss it all together using a spatula until the coleslaw mix is well-coated.
  5. It can be served as the way it is. But it best served cold. So, after everything is mixed up nicely, cover the bowl using a plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator for about two hours.
  6. Optional: Before serving the salad, sprinkle it with sesame seeds if desired.
