- ¼ cup of pepperjack cheese, ground
- ¼ cup of white cheddar, ground
- 1 cup of gluten-free breadcrumbs
- ½ teaspoon of chipotle bean stew powder
- 1 tablespoon of sprinkles (lightning bolt)
For Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1 ½ cups of milk
- 3 ½ tablespoons of gluten-free flour
- 1 ¾ cups of white cheddar, ground
- ½ teaspoon of coarse salt
- ¼ cup of pepperjack cheese, ground
- ½ teaspoon of chipotle bean stew powder
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
Cooking Instructions:
- First and foremost, you have to make the sauce by melting the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour once the butter has melted and proceed to whisk. Cook for about two minutes.
- Gradually pour in milk while whisking continuously.
- Give the sauce a chance to cook until the texture thickens for about ten minutes. Keep on mixing every now and then.
- Lift the pan from the stove and add the seasonings recorded in the “For sauce:” segment and the cheeses. Mix until it is completely dissolved then set aside.
- Turn on the oven to 300 – 350 degrees.
- Cook the macaroni as instructed on the package. But, reduce one minute before the most minimal cook time on the instructions printed on the package. Pour in cold water to rinse the pasta and let it drain.
- Cook an 8-inch casserole and save for later.
- Mix the sauce and the cooked pasta well and stir it until well-coated. Pour the mixture of Banza mac and cheese into the casserole.
- Add extra ground cheddar, chipotle bean stew powder, gluten-free breadcrumbs, and sprinkles to your Banza mac n cheese recipe.
