  3. 4 – 5 cups milk
  4. White sugar, ½ cup
  5. 1 tbsp. butter
  6. Raisins, ½ – 1 cup (optional)
  7. 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  8. Extract vanilla, 1 teaspoon

 

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven at 150 C or 300 F.
  2. Grease the baking dish. You can use size 2 quartz.
  3. Prepare bowl and beat eggs then pour milk. Stir them until blend perfectly then add uncooked rice, sugar, butte, vanilla, nutmeg, and raisins. Mix, whisk, and stir them slowly.
  4. Put mixture in saucepan then bake for 2 – 3 hours in medium heat. Stir mixture after one hour and do it again after 30 minutes.

How much rice do you need? For small service, ½ cup is enough including eggs and milk. You can add more rice while adjusting with the rest of ingredients. White sugar is the key thing for flavor. It will produce sweetness, but you may replace with another option, such as honey. Other optional ingredients are raisins and vanilla; even you consider baked rice pudding no eggs. Those are personal preferences that different between one personal and another.
